The standard size for a banner displayed in the right hand column of most Undiscovered Scotland pages is shown here. Prices for placing banners on the more common types of page are set out below, alongside some example banners.

  • Business Listing Pages (example): £40
  • Feature Pages (example): £40
  • Long Distance Walk Pages (example): £40
  • Links Pages (example): £40
  • Area Info Pages (example): £50.

For Placement on Specific High Traffic Pages:

  • Accommodation Index Page (here) (including copy on text-only version of page): £240

In all cases the banner is linked directly to your web site, and a short "mouseover" text gives more information. There is no additional cost for preparation of a banner: or you can supply one of the appropriate size (see below).

These banners use 227x75 pixel images, within a frame. Most are .gif format files, and many use simple moving elements that draw attention without being too intrusive. Maximum file size permitted is 80KB.
